The Abomination of Desolation - Spoken of by Daniel

Is connected to

This event is now obvious in 2017!

The “ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION” is mentioned in The Gospel of Mark and also in Matthew but each says something slightly different! In Luke it seems to be so different that he has surely got the prophecy completely wrong - or has he?

In Mark it says “when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not to”, but in Matthew, it says “standing in the holy place”.

Matthew appears to agree that the Abomination of Desolation is standing in the Jewish Temple, The Holy Place and is the statue of Zeus, placed there by Antiochus Epiphane in 167AD. But this must be a well-intentioned assumption by Matthew, or a later translator, designed to assist the “uneducated” reader. (let the reader understand).

Matthew is always keen to “assist the reader”, but 2000 years ago, he was not really in a position to assist with “understanding” what was being said and should really have concentrated on delivering the message exactly as it was given to him! Prophecies cannot be understood until they have actually happened and the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION had not happened in Matthew’s day! His “understanding”, if he thought the Abomination stood in the "Holy Place" in Jerusalem, was incorrect!

A moment’s reflection will “let the reader understand” that a statue of Zeus, standing in the temple would be an Abomination of “Desecration” not “Desolation”, unless, of course, the statue was packed with high explosive and was about to self-detonate!

So where is this abomination and where is it standing, if not in The Temple? It could, of course, be anywhere and speculation will not assist in determining either what it is, or where it is standing, without further information. We might be able to determine more from the warnings about what is recommended that we do when we see it!

Mark says: “Let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains!" This is not something you would do based on an object standing in the temple in Jerusalem, unless the statue of Zeus really had explosives packed into it!

It seems that both Matthew and Mark seem to be under the misapprehension that all these prophecies are to be fulfilled in Israel – but we will pass over that misunderstanding for the moment! Wherever it is, and whatever it is, the message seems quite specific and the object appears to be dangerous. And the instructions are quite familiar, aren’t they? They seem to say:

       1. Get away quickly from this dangerous situation – run!

       2. If you are on the roof or next to it, don’t go in to collect your clothing or baggage!

These are standard, modern-day fire warnings to anyone inside, or near to a building which is already ON FIRE especially a multi-storey property.

But what about Luke? This seems to be completely different! It says: “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near." It seems to be a completely different prophecy!

But then it continues with the same instructions: "then let those who are in Judea flee ...."

At first It seems to be talking about a different situation, in a different time; maybe in 70AD when the original temple was destroyed! We could be forgiven for thinking these are two differen prophecies from two different time periods, except when it reverts to "let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains..."

We will com back to this later but first let us have a look at a really serious fire described in the Epistle of Peter 2/3: starting at v 7. It describes a fire engulfing both the “heavens and the earth” but it can’t mean what it appears to say, because there is no way HEAVEN is going to be destroyed by fire! Even if some idiot destroys the earth with nuclear bombs, there is no way Heaven is also going to be destroyed. So, let’s have a look at this terrible fire and see what it is really all about! It says:

But the heavens and the earth are “reserved for fire until the day of judgment. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

It looks as if it’s ONE FIRE burning which affects both HEAVEN AND EARTH but “The Heavens” is the worst affected! While the Earth and the works that are in it will be (just) “burned up” the HEAVENS will be “dissolved”, being on fire and the elements will actually MELT with fervent heat”

What if this is ONE FIRE but it is a building of sufficient height that the top of it is, as far as someone living 2000 years ago would be concerned, in the “heavens”, whilst the base of it is firmly planted on the earth? In other words, in today’s language, it’s a multi-story block of some kind! And the fire is so intense, that the top half of the building actually MELTS!

Is this fire starting to sound horrifically familiar?? Hold that thought for a moment! How about this part?

Peter 2/3v7 says: “But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the Day of Judgment and perdition of ungodly men”

What does “now preserved by the same word” mean? It seems to say that what were originally describing as two things, namely (1) heaven and (2) earth”, are now preserved (does that mean remembered?) by only ONE WORD.

Could the two words, Heaven and Earth, now to be preserved as one word be: Grenfell - the most horrendous fire in what is now generally considered to be The End Times?

Mark says “when you see the Abomination of Desolation, standing where it should NOT, perhaps he didn’t mean that it should be standing somewhere else, but that with the intense heat of its burning, it should not be standing at all!

The Abomination of Desolation happened on 14th June 2017

So, if this is “The Old Heaven and the Old Earth” which has been totally destroyed, then it is quite obvious, even at this stage before it is rebuilt, what “The New Heaven and the New Earth” is going to be and what it will look like.

But please read on to discover the completely unbelievable PROOF that this interpretation is absolutely correct, when you read the details of “The New Heavens and the New Earth” and see “The New Jerusalem descending out of Heaven, dressed as a bride adorned for her husband – IT'S ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!

In Revelation 21:1 John writes, “Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away and there was no more sea” But what does it mean “and there was no more sea”?

This doesn’t make any sense at all! The sea is needed to allow water to evaporate and form clouds which then precipitate back over the land to irrigate it. Without the sea the earth would die!

But the “New Heaven and New Earth” will actually be the completely REBUILT Grenfell Tower, because surely the old one could only be demolished and completely rebuilt. It would be structurally unsafe to try to repair it, leaving aside the fact that no one would ever accept living in the old tower again, no matter how much money was invested in the refurbishment!

It clearly says the old tower, the old heaven and earth, has PASSED AWAY – It is no more!

Ask yourself: what will be omitted when they rebuild Grenfell - The New Heaven and the New Earth? What was the major fault which caused the carnage in this particular fire? The problem was due to the cladding, which was supposed to be inflammable but was actually flammable at very high temperatures. The high temperatures, which caused the cladding to burn, was the INSULATION used behind the cladding, which was called CELLOTEX

In the “New Heaven and Earth”, which will be the replacement building for Grenfell, there will be no more “C” not “SEA”, where “C”, of course, stands for “CELLOTEX”

If this revelation does not convince you, please read the rest of this prophecy and see the fine detail which appears to confirm the identity of the New Heaven and New Earth.

Revelation  continues: 21:2:

"And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."

21:3 "And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God."

21:4 "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

The New Jerusalem is said to be the “tabernacle of God” and it says it is “coming down from Heaven prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."

A tabernacle is translated as “a temporary building” which, in John’s days, was usually a tent but it could actually be defined as a “small temporary building” – nothing grand – and it’s coming DOWN from “heaven” from the top of the new “tower”, in heaven, down to the “earth” on the “ground floor”.

It seems to me that the only “small portable building” which would travel from the top of the newly rebuilt Grenfell Tower block, to the bottom, would be an elevator. And there it is! The original external elevator is still visible outside the burned-out building! And since it says that this one is highly decorated (like a bride adorned for her husband) it sounds like this might have been especially decorated for the opening ceremony of the NEW BUILDING.

Please note it does NOT SAY that what is coming down out of heaven is actually a BRIDE. It is only ADORNED like a bride!! It actually says it is  a “tabernacle”, decorated like a bride ….”

The description and the measurements all tally up with the New Heaven and Earth being a 24-story block of flats, looking very similar to the old but refurbished Grenfell Tower building. Read the details here:

12 It had a great, high wall with twelve gates (3 per side) and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. 13 There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. 14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

There were 3 “gates” or panels on each of the four sides of the “tower”

17 The angel measured the wall using human measurement, and it was 144 cubits thick. 18 The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass.

The height (thickness) of the tower was 144 cubits (about 200 feet) or about 24 stories high @ 8.4 feet per story. Just like Grenfell! The walls are more or less all glass!

19 The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.[f]

The original walls of Grenfell were clad with a type of green chrystaline substance like jasper

21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.

The twelve “gates were each formed of a single sheet of glass (pearl)

22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.

There was no temple (church) in the city

23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.

The building did not need the sun or moon to light it. It was artificially lit.

24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. 25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there.

26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

All the information and even the measurements agree with a building the size of the previous Grenfell Tower, EXCEPT for the SIZE of the CITY at 1200 stadia for the length width and height, which would make the city (whatever the city is) about the same size as the moon, but square. However, it does say this is as measured by the angel with the ROD whatever the rod is!

15 The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls. 16 The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia[c] in length, and as wide and high as it is long.

But the other measurements, of the gates and the wall, were by the angel using “human measurement” (not the rod). So there is a serious discrepancy here with this enormous measurement of “the city”.

The measurement of the “city” appears to be 12000 stadia by the rod but the city is 144 cubits high by human measurement. Any suggestions to resolve this apparent discrepancy would be welcome!

So when the New Grenfell Tower is built, look out at the opening ceremony. The elevator should be decorated “like a bride adorned by her husband” but I expect the whole building will be!

“And there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

It is now apparent that the above reference to the REBUILT tower being "dressed like a bride adorned for her husband" is incorrect. The damaged tower still stands but the whole of the OLD TOWER has now been clad in white sheeting to cover the burnt-out block and a GREEN HEART emblem adorns the top!

What colour would a bride choose to be adorned in for her wedding day but WHITE and the heart motif is very apt as a sign of love for a husband on her wedding day!

The only reservation is that it is not actually the external elevator or "tabernacle" which is adorned but the main building. However, it does depend how you read the desription and the punctuation of it, as to whether it is the "tabernacle" which is adorned or "the "heavens" (from which the tabernacle is descending) which is dressed up!

Nevertheless, the description of "dressed as a bride adorned for her husband" is exactly right!!

Further amendment -

We can now see that the prophecy in Luke 21.20 about the "desolation" which appeared at first sight to be a different prophecy from those in Mark and Matthew, is now the same.

Grenfell Tower is later referred to as the "New Jerusalem" descending from the sky and we can see that if we substitute "New Jerusalem" for "Jerusalem", in Luke's prophecy it now relates to exactly the same event!

The only difference is that the "armies" surrounding Jerusalem" are now armies of firefighters surrounding  The New Jerusalem and DESOLATION is certainly near because the building is on fire!
